John and Mary Virginia Foncannon Choral Conducting or Sacred Music Scholarship

DESCRIPTION
$10,000 for study in choral conducting or sacred music.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Materials Checklist:

1. Current resume
2. Statement of Mu Phi Epsilon participation
3. Most recent unofficial college transcript
4. A detailed budget
5. Professional quality video recording of two contrasting works which demonstrate familiarity and command of conducting or sacred music performance. Submission must  be via links to YouTube or other comparable sites provided to the online application system (YouTube preferred, no Dropbox). Recordings in the Scholarship Application process must not be older than two years from the date of application.
6. A list of the recorded repertoire including the following:
1. Exact titles, opus numbers
2. Composers' names
3. Timings
7. If not enrolled in an institution of higher learning, a detailed statement outlining how the award would be used
8. Two current letters of recommendation
9. $25 Application Fee

Please note that there will be no return of application fee for incomplete or disqualified applications.
